Account Deletion
Last Updated: October 6, 2026
This page is for NDT Pro, the inspection reporting app for Android, iPhone, and iPad, published on Google Play and the App Store by DAK Enterprises LLC. Any NDT Pro user can request deletion of their account here, whether or not the app is still installed and whether or not you can still sign in.
Canceling your company's subscription and deleting an account are two separate steps. A company administrator cancels the subscription on our website at any time, as described below. You can ask for your account to be deleted right on this page by signing in, or by email from the address you sign in with. Our support team completes every request within 30 days. The steps below are the whole process.
Cancel your company's subscription
NDT Pro is billed to your company, not to individual users. Only a company administrator can cancel, and it is done on our website, not in the app or an app store:
- Sign in to the account page of our website, ndtproapp.com/account, in any web browser on a computer, phone, or tablet, with your administrator email and password.
- Choose Manage billing. This opens the billing portal run by Stripe, our payment processor, where you can see your plan, payment method, and invoices.
- Choose Cancel subscription and confirm. Your company keeps full access until the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods (Terms of Service, Section 6.4).
If your company is still in its free trial and has not set up billing, there is nothing to cancel and nothing will be charged.
Canceling does not delete anything. When the subscription ends, the app becomes read-only for your company: reports can still be viewed and exported, but not created, edited, or signed (Terms of Service, Section 6.5). To have your company's records deleted as well, follow Deleting an entire company below.
If you are not an administrator, you are not billed for NDT Pro yourself. To stop using it, ask your company administrator to remove you, or request deletion of your own account below.
How to request deletion
Sign in and ask here
Sign in with the email and password you use for NDT Pro. Signing in is how we know the request is yours, so there is nothing to confirm by email afterwards.
Or email us
If you cannot sign in, or you would rather write to us, email works too.
- Email us from the address you sign in with. Send your request to the support address below, from the email address registered to your NDT Pro account, with the subject line NDT Pro account deletion request.
Support address:
dakenterprisesdev@gmail.com(if the button does not open your mail app, write to this address from any device) - Tell us three things: the name on your account, the name of your company in NDT Pro, and whether you are asking us to delete your account only or your entire company. Only a company administrator can ask for the company.
- We verify it is you. We reply to the same registered address and ask you to confirm. Deletion begins only after you reply to that message. This protects your account from a request sent by someone else in your name.
- We complete the deletion within 30 days of your confirmation and send a final email to let you know it is done. We reply to acknowledge every request within five business days of receiving it.
What we verify
The request must come from the email address registered to your NDT Pro account. That address is the one you sign in with and the only one we can send a password reset to, and it is how we know the request is yours. We do not delete an account on the strength of a message from any other address.
If you no longer have access to that address, ask an administrator of your company to write to us from their own registered address on your behalf. We verify the request with them instead.
Before you ask, please note
- If you are the only administrator of your company, tell us whether we should delete the company as well, or name another administrator first on the Team page at ndtproapp.com/team. A company cannot run with no administrator.
- Deleting your own account does not cancel your company's subscription and does not change its bill. Seats are managed by your company's administrator on the account page of our website.
- To delete an entire company, the administrator cancels the subscription first and then asks us to delete the company record. See Deleting an entire company below.
What is deleted
When we delete your account, we remove the following from NDT Pro:
- Your sign-in. The email address and password you sign in with, and any signed-in device session. You will no longer be able to sign in, and the email address is released.
- Your profile. Your name and display name, phone number, NDT certifications, role, permissions, and job assignments within your company.
- Unsigned reports you created that no one else has worked on.
The Privacy Policy states this in Section 7: "We remove your profile and account data from NDT Pro."
By Google Play data category
Google Play describes the data an app collects in fixed categories. This is what happens to each category NDT Pro collects when your account is deleted. Apple's App Store privacy details use different category names; the same rules apply to the iPhone and iPad app.
| Category | What happens |
|---|---|
| Personal info (name, email address, user ID, phone number, certifications) | Deleted with your account. Your name stays printed on reports you signed, as described under What is kept. |
| Photos (inspection photos you attached to reports) | Kept. They are part of your company's inspection record and are stored in your company's own storage or, until the company connects its storage, in a bucket we operate for that company. |
| Files and docs (PDF reports) | Kept. They are your company's inspection record and are delivered to your company's own storage. |
| Other user-generated content (drawn signatures, report text) | Kept where it is part of a signed report. Unsigned draft reports that only you worked on are deleted. |
| App info and performance, and device or other IDs (audit entries recorded with a delete or restore action) | Kept as part of your company's record. Once your profile is gone, these entries identify you by account ID only. |
What is kept, and why
Reports you have signed remain part of your company's inspection record with your name on the signature. A signed inspection report is a record your company relies on and may be required to produce, and the signature is the statement of who performed the inspection. Inspection reports, photos, signatures and job records belong to your company, not to NDT Pro, and they are retained under the Terms of Service: "NDT Pro retains the signature and version record of every sealed report as part of your company's inspection record, including the name of each signer, for as long as your company's account exists, even if that user is later deactivated or removed" (Terms, Section 5.3). A company administrator may ask us to delete the company as a whole; see the next section.
Files in your company's own storage are not deleted by NDT Pro. Every photo and PDF report is delivered to the storage account your company connects and controls. Your company is the custodian of those files, and deleting your account does not reach into that storage (Terms, Section 14.2; Privacy Policy, Section 7).
Database backups are retained for seven days. A deleted record can persist in a backup for up to seven days after deletion and is then gone (Privacy Policy, Section 8).
Deleting an entire company
Only a company administrator can request this. Under the Terms of Service, "a company may terminate by canceling its subscription on the account page of our website and asking support to delete the company record" (Section 14.2).
- Cancel the subscription on the account page of our website (Manage billing). Your access continues to the end of the current billing period.
- Email us from the administrator's registered address with the subject line NDT Pro company deletion request, naming the company.
- We verify the request with you, then delete the company's records from the NDT Pro database within 30 days of your confirmation, and confirm by email when it is done.
When a company is deleted, everything under it in the NDT Pro database is removed, including every user account, every job, and every signed report with its signature and version history. "Files in the company's own storage remain with the company" (Privacy Policy, Section 8). Because every report has already been delivered to your storage as a PDF, you keep your inspection record. If your company never connected its own storage, tell us in your request and we will arrange delivery of your files before the records are deleted.
Deleting some data without deleting your account
You do not need to delete your account to remove individual records. Users your company administrator has given permission can delete jobs, unsigned reports and photos inside the app. A deleted job is held in Recently Deleted for 30 days, where an administrator can restore it or remove it permanently. Signed reports are kept as described above.
Company administrators: removing a team member
An administrator can end another person's access without contacting us. In the app, go to Settings > Users & Invites; on our website, use the Team page at ndtproapp.com/team. Deactivate stops the person signing in and keeps every report they worked on. Remove deletes their sign-in for good, and is available only for someone who has no inspection records. Either one frees their seat. Their own request to delete their account still comes to us, as described above.
